Nikolai Kedroff Jr. (1905-1981)

KEDROFF JR. Nikolai Nikolaevich, (1905-1981) like his father Nikolai Kedroff Sr., has composed numerous works throughout his life for the Orthodox liturgy, many of which are based on ancient chants. The style of his works is simple, and despite the sometimes severe harmony, his music creates an atmosphere of humility, gentleness and tranquility.
