Simple, yet elegantly crafted, this children's lullaby shows a master composer's hand. The moderately contrapuntal vocal writing is punctuated by an interesting piano accompaniment. This is No. 6 from Gretchaninoff cycle of children's songs entitled "The Honeybee," op. 66.
