REVIEW
This is the fourth CD released by the Boston Byzantine Choir in the fifteen years of their existence, and it demonstrates the choir's growth and evolution--both as musical performers and in terms of repertoire. The CD presents a very comprehensive selection of Paschal hymns, ranging from Holy Saturday through Paschal Vespers, and includes chants of Greek Byzantine and Arabic traditions, sung in the traditional manner (unison with ison), as well as a few choral arrangements.
