This fifteen-movement work is a setting, for double SATB chorus and soloist, of the complete Easternrite
(Orthodox/Byzantine Catholic) Vespers, in the original Church Slavonic. The music is very accessible—simple yet profound—and complements the aesthetic of Eastern Orthodox Christianity. It can be performed either as a concert piece or in the course of an actual Vespers service.
